ages 3-4, 5-7
Act, sing, dance, drum, paint, and play! From monsters to aliens, wizards to wild things, and other wacky characters, we'll stomp, sing, dance, read our way through books, stories and tales!
Creative Drama provides a strong foundation of the performing arts as we develop creativity and imagination, social skills, academic skills, and our self-awareness and self-expression.
These sessions develop rhythm, coordination, self-confidence, self-expression, and social-emotional skills all in a fun, developmentally appropriate class as we make new friends and build teamwork.
Young Actors Studio
Intro to Acting, Movement, Mime, and Puppetry. Come join us in the studio as we develop our performance, team-building, self-awareness, and self-expression skills. No experience necessary.
Scene Study builds strong foundations for rehearsals and performance as we examine acting techniques, script analysis, movement, and improvisation exercises as we develop our dexterity to approach different characters and modalities.
Using the works of different writers, from comedy to drama, classics to modern, tv and film, this class focuses on character development, timing, physicality, playable action, energy, and tension.
Warrior Women, all ages
Time for Warrior Women to take care of our bodies through gentle stretching and toning.
The class offers activities that can be performed sitting, standing, in a wheelchair, or lying on the floor. Work through exercises to maintain and improve mobility, muscle strength and function while also working on reducing pain and stiffness. All done in a fun, welcoming environment.
We'll play with scarves, wings, ribbons, and other manipulatives as we create our own Warrior Women Dance Club.
